I main a Titan although I deleted him to start over because... reasons. Playing a lot with my Hunter now. I don't mind the Hammer of SoL my only gripe is when it's Super vs Super it should be equal. If one hammer can take me out than I think one Shot from a Golden gun should do the same. The cries that "my high powered sniper rifle should one shot you out of super" is something I never agreed with. It's a super, when using it you're suppose to feel well SUPER. When it came to PvP Titans always had the short end of the stick so to speak not to mention their bull shite mele attack. It's like my Titan has T-Rex arms. Warlocks I'm looking at you, especially with the storm caller mele. A couple of times I've thrown my controller out of sheer disbelief of that range. It needs tweaking and in sure it'll get it but for the most part it's fine. Blade Dancers need a slight buff to armour.

  • The extended range once in a while is probably due to the perk that increases its range on the skill tree. You choose between that, chaining between enemies or having its recharge improved.

  • I hear you and like I explained to another fellow I do think Range did come into play in some of my skirmishes with a Hammer of SoL users but there were some instances where I was a stones throw away and barely dropped a sliver. As a whole I like the super and happy Titans can compete. It we take time and look at their previous class they weren't really that great. Fist of Havoc is used to take out mobs and if timed right in control, clash well any PvP match it can really turn the tide but it's situational. Aside from a couple "panic supers" its main purpose is to take out mobs. Defender Titans have no place in PvP in my option. That bubble is your coffin. Even the new Warlock super I think is great because it gives a chance to rack up kills. Let's be honest Hunters were made for PvP. Everything about their supers is to rack up kills, certain armour prolongs that so I'm happy the other 2 classes are on that. I do stand by the statement that it does need a slight tweaking.

  • Sorry. Guess it wasn't clear I was talking about the storm caller melee. Just pointing out their perk. I'm replying through the app and can't see the original post when typing so forgot how much else was in your original post. I don't really have a problem with the sunbreaker super myself. Usually just hightail it when I hear enemy hammers unless I'm playing Hunter with a charged bow to shut them down. Same as I treat blade dancers and storm callers. It doesn't last long enough to be that much of a problem.

  • My apologies for the misunderstanding. Ye that makes sense given that perk tree. Lol it's always gonna frustrate me especially when I'm already doing awful and then here comes this mele hit from what I perceive to be a mile in my mind when really they were 2 feet away lol. That's Space magic for ya, what are you gonna do.

  • I've head shot a couple of Titans in their super and it drops their health to a sliver, I've also one shotted a couple of active SoL hammers. I guess it's just inconsistent but in the middle of writing my original post the thought occurred to me range could also play a factor but I'm pretty sure I was in close range to them and no one shot.

  • People also forget the variations Sunbreaker can have. I have more hammers, slight tracking, with health regen on kills, but a lot have the Sunspot creation and overshield.
