Hello Bungie,
I just had a chance to check out the Gear Manager tool on my profile, and I have a few things I would like to say about it.
First off, it is very user friendly, very easy to find what you are looking for and move it where you want it to go. I like this aspect of it very much.
One thing I would like to see incorporated, although I'm sure it would be difficult to do would be an item breakdown option.
The way I see this working would be:
On Bungie.net, you can place items you no longer want into a separate 'TO BE BROKEN DOWN' designation (as opposed to the vault or one of the guardians). And when you log into Destiny fly to the tower and open up your vault it will give you a prompt to verify your breakdown requests. This would keep random enemies from deleting all your precious legendaries while you leave your computer or APP open. But have all the junk you don't want in one easy to find and breakdown spot.
I know I'm being lazy, and could just go through and break down what I don't want while I'm logged in playing destiny. But when I'm logged in, I don't want to spend an hour deciding what to breakdown, I want to run the raid or strikes. But in my downtime throughout the day, I could be actually managing my characters and items.
Thanks for taking the time to read crazy suggestions like this. You guys do alright.
