How you can Skip a couple Quests for the Exotic Sword

This is a video guide on how you can skip two Sword quests where you will not have to kill the 50 majors and 25 guardians or summon Ecthar. The only prerequisite is you must have completed an exotic sword on one of your characters. Hope this helps! Edit: also make sure to check out: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/158796104/0/0/1 easiest by far way to down Golgoroth with only using one gazer. This is the best strat for LFG/Randoms, Not recommending it for preparation of hard mode though! Know how to use all mechanics, this just makes it easier!

  • You don't need to actually complete a sword on that character. Getting to the stage of material collection/ability kills is sufficient. I have 3 "A Sword Reforged" quests on my hunter all at that stage. I'd also like to note for anyone who finds themselves in the same boat I was in. The thing that determines which character gets the exotic quest is which character infuses the legendary sword above 280 and fills in that final exp node. At launch of TTK, it was assumed it was determined at the point of choosing the element for the legendary sword on that character. Even if you happened to finish infusing/leveling more than one sword on the same character before starting the exotic quest chain, once you complete the 50 majors/25 guardians step and the knight duel step, you'll get the material collection quest for each sword that character leveled. I hope this helps some people.
