But I think that showing solidarity towards good causes does not necessarily feed superiority nor inferiority complices.
Sadly, a large faction of people dislike pink out of adherence to a gender-specific cultural norm. To me, that makes it that much more appealing as I tend to prefer marching to the beat of my own drum.
For example, I happen to have a large collection of pink ties. Why? Because they show confidence without the arrogance of red (power) ties. It's all about the subtext of the color and the emotional response it elicits in others. In sales situations, it put potential buyers at ease and helps to establish trust and rapport.
So yeah. To reiterate, I would wear the shit out of a pink shader and would wear pink bunny ears every day if I could. ;)
