I doubt they would limit finding an exotic up to the mercy of getting another exotic. For people that do t have the pocket infinity are screwed until they get lucky enough to receive one.
Just my opinion though.

Oh no? Chaperone quest is locked behind the last word. No last word? No chaperone quest.
-
Yes but last word is obtainable still via the year two version.

Edited by MIKE-B_CHILLIN: 10/3/2015 6:14:49 AMThis.....you have a point, but then again xur did sell TLW numerous times whereas PI is a RNG based bounty so there's a chance ppl never got that bounty.

Edited by xAmbrosiAx1: 10/3/2015 6:01:53 AMThink about it this way though, why else would legacy weapons cost so much with xur? An outrageous 31 coins for outdated weapons sure gives me something to think about. Other than the fact that it would open tiers up for year two weapons via legendary marks, but that would be RNG hopeful as well.

If you put in a code you get all year exotics just saying

What code?

The mission... Sorry my bad (warmind mission where cayd is like take this code)

Cough chaperon Cough

The chaperone requires the last word in order to complete the quest. Just saying.
-
Your right. I forgot about the chaperone quest because I did it week 1. Still though, last word has a year 2 version and was also sold by Xur so many times. You still have so many ways to obtain the year 2 version via 3 of coins or the exotic chest drops. Pocket infinity was locked away by a exotic bounty which was completely RNG based. I never was able to obtain that bounty because the only 3 I ever received were thorn, bad juju, and invective. Yes xur sells legacy engrams ehhh who the -blam!- am i kidding of course bungie would lock an exotic behind another exotic.
-
Lol you have a point. Leave it to bungie. Guess we'll have to role with the punches.
