Well for starters I'm not a huge halo fan. Also, I've not once ever heard halo just called "h" as "halo" is so simple to type and say

You must have at least heard of the new game release for Xbox, one of the biggest is Halo 5. And yea, H5 is kinda lazy, but it is still easy to know what it is referring to.
