Should there be an exotic version of the Khvostov?

This was our first weapon in Destiny, and probably one of the most unique looking guns for it's time. Wouldn't it be awesome if we got an exotic version of this gun so that we can still use this amazing weapon! I think a lot of people will want this Bungie, so please make this a thing!
Edit: Yes, I know that the version I am showing is not the best way to make the exotic (the stats that is), it's just an example image I found on google that I thought had a cool aesthetic look to it.
Edit: Of the 400 replies in this thread, most of them are in favor of making the Khvostov have an exotic counterpart. I think Bungie needs to start on it now so that we may have it by the next DLC!
(Also Bungie, I would forgive you with microtransactions if you made all future DLC free, and added the Khvostov exotic.)

5 RepliesYes, and a legendary version as well. It should be a Gunsmith quest, and through the quest, it will provide you with a legendary version, and exotic version later. Also, depending on quest choices, you should be able to make it into a scout rifle, pulse rifle, or auto rifle, because although every player starts out with one, they don't all have the same playstyle.

There was supposed to be one originally. I mean, just read the khvostov's description. It sounds like there was supposed to be, or will be one eventually.
