Touch of Malice in Trials will be unfair
Eveerybody remembers people complaining over snipers and final round, where players would dump their clip and just use the final body shot. I'm response to this, bumgie nerfed the perk...AND THEN ADDED A GUN THAT DOES DOUBLE DAMAGE UNLIMITED AMMO.
Wait till Trials when players start dumping their clip to get unlimited super fast double damage shots with Touch of Malice. We just found the new meta.
I suggest a nerf where the double damage only procs if the player using it has a higher kill death ratio than the other player, since he would have won the gun battle anyway. This keeps it fair to everybody.
Bump this so bumgie nerfs it before this mess happens in 2 weeks!

It isn't double damage in pvp it goes from 41 to like 62. Which is one higher than Boolean Gemini. I can't wait til people try to use it and kill themselves due to the malice.

Any amount of health loss immediately puts you at a disadvantage. Especially in an elimination format. Where at any given time you can go from 3 v3 to 3v1 real quick. Tl/dr nope nope nope

That "fix" is the worst idea I've ever heard. If you have a fight against a touch of malice while it's only using the double damage shots, the damage the user does to themselves should counteract and make it a more or less fair fight. The gun is an exotic and is meant to slightly out class legendaries, something many people complained didn't happen with exotics in year 1.

Seeing as high impact snipers leave you with roughly -blam!- all health all the opposing team would have to do is either shoot you first, resulting in you killing yourself from firing one shot. Or let you shoot and then hit you anywhere, resulting in your death once again. High impact snipers will walk over that gun.

6 RepliesIt doesnt do double damage in pvp, it goes from 45 to 61, and you become a 2 shot for any gun. You go from 5 shots to 4 shots and lose health, no one is going to use that gun

Don't get if this is another troll post. But ToM do not give double dmg to players last I checked... And do you know what? It dmg yourself... So I would not bring it to Trial, unless you have a defender Titan with you..

ToM in pvp doesnt do double damage. Second you loose health every time you shoot. Its more of a pve gun then a pvp gun
