Eveerybody remembers people complaining over snipers and final round, where players would dump their clip and just use the final body shot. I'm response to this, bumgie nerfed the perk...AND THEN ADDED A GUN THAT DOES DOUBLE DAMAGE UNLIMITED AMMO.
Wait till Trials when players start dumping their clip to get unlimited super fast double damage shots with Touch of Malice. We just found the new meta.
I suggest a nerf where the double damage only procs if the player using it has a higher kill death ratio than the other player, since he would have won the gun battle anyway. This keeps it fair to everybody.
Bump this so bumgie nerfs it before this mess happens in 2 weeks!

It's not like it takes away your health or anything
-
Have you used it in PvP?
-
Edited by Pro: 10/22/2015 7:29:02 PMI just don't see the benefit.... You basically have the final round perk but costs you health? Why would this be the meta? I haven't used ToM... But it seems like a great PvE weapon but very lackluster in PvP So you hit with the final round.... Then you have to reload?
-
You know, life also isn't fair and yet you don't see me asking God for a nerf.
-
It would not be OP in trials because 1. It dosen't go for full double damage in pvp it goes from 44 to 62 or slighly higer/lower dependant on light level. 2. When you are at your last shot the gun's recoil increases BIG TIME multiplied by the recoil you are taking from enemy gunfire, so you will probobly miss many shots and you taking away your health. 3. There are other much better pvp exotic wepons out there and if you are shoting with the last bullet you are doing the enemy a favor by taking away your own health

Missing #satire
-
LMAO this has got be satire. No way anyone could possibly take you serious ToM is practically useless in Pvp. Only the extremely skilled could make use of it. You'd have a better chance of bitching about red death then ToM.
-
What needs to be nerfed is Bungies over competitive attitude. The try hard content forces dramatic changes that end up unbalancing the rest of the game.
-
Edited by Dampfanator: 10/22/2015 6:14:10 PMYour tlaloc is more OP than touch of malice.
-
If it was so OP then how come it wasn't used at all in Iron Banner?
-
Malice is not even a PvP thing every experienced player knows this why don't you? Unlimited ammo at the cost of being on the bottom of the leaderboard is were it will get you
-
Um did you post this before you actually used ToM in crucible or Iron Banner cause if you did then you'd realize that you're completely off base and just going off assumptions. ToM is not even close to OP in crucible...just play one match with it you'll see.
-
Only sunbreakers need nerfed
-
I only think that sunbreaker's damage resistance should be nerfed. mostly everything else is pretty okay with me. Mostly emphasis on that.
-
-
Nerf fade proof sharpies plz!!!
-
Touch of Malice's final bullet does not deal double damage in crucible. You deal 44 Damage to the body and 65 to the head. You deal VoC damage. You also lose HP for every shot you take. This makes you a lot more vulnerable to damage. One shot makes you vulnerable to a two shot headshot from Hand Cannons, for starters. At least one less shot out of an auto rifle, for another. ToM is a very risk/reward type of weapon. If you can't aim and your opponent is using ToM, you're gonna die, pretty fast. If you can, they die before they can get close to killing you.
-
Nerf everything!!! Even BEFORE it's a problem!!! While you're at it Nerf "No Time to Explain", we are sure that will be a OP problem too. Also, for future consideration, please nerf sharp stick.....the sharp part is to OP!!!!
-
And that's when the "infinite ammo" part kills OP.
-

-
No one in their right mind would lower their health for a faster TTK. They'll end up dead.
-
Yea unlimited ammo with extra damage but it comes at a risk if your shooting that thing while damaging yourself it could go quite badly
-
LMAO To whoever uses the Touch in Trials, you gon die in 1 shot.
-
Ha ridiculous, it doesn't even double the damage in pvp for starters and with the awesome options available in the pulse rifle category why would you run with it any way (smh) I'll be using my hawks or my beast of all beasts the lyumila-D, or my NTTE but it's not worth my exotic in pvp
-
I use in it crucible and in no way is it op because your killing yourself. But however with a skilled hand it can be deadly
-
Don't worry they nerfed it already. They didn't say anything, but you lose a lot more health from it now. Unless somehow the small arms modifier was being applied during nf.
