Eveerybody remembers people complaining over snipers and final round, where players would dump their clip and just use the final body shot. I'm response to this, bumgie nerfed the perk...AND THEN ADDED A GUN THAT DOES DOUBLE DAMAGE UNLIMITED AMMO.
Wait till Trials when players start dumping their clip to get unlimited super fast double damage shots with Touch of Malice. We just found the new meta.
I suggest a nerf where the double damage only procs if the player using it has a higher kill death ratio than the other player, since he would have won the gun battle anyway. This keeps it fair to everybody.
Bump this so bumgie nerfs it before this mess happens in 2 weeks!

Don't worry they nerfed it already. They didn't say anything, but you lose a lot more health from it now. Unless somehow the small arms modifier was being applied during nf.
-
It doesnt actually do double damage in crucible
-
Lol wut
-
Not really since anyone can get the gun
-
Do you even have the gun? Cause it seems like you have no idea what you're talking about.
-
Bumgie. You forgot #satire
-
None of what you're saying makes any sense at all. 1. Touch of Malice doesn't get double damage in pvp, it gains a 30-33% boost. 2. The recoil on the gun is heinous, making it very difficult to use in a pvp setting. 3. In a firefight in which the user of ToM wins, is likely to kill himself just from overshooting due to damage taken during the engagement.
-
RIGHT, put the NERF down, step away from the NERF, put your hands behind your head, your busted kid, 25-life me thinks.
-
What? Lolz? I higher K/D allows it to proc? Lolz. Get out of here.
-
It doesn't do double damage in PVP. Not sure on if this will be different for the Trials, but I can't imagine why it would. pretty sure it gets bonus damage, but not double. And every shot hurts you too.
-
No Nerf... Don't ruin it for where it's meant to be in PvE.
-
Yeah except the gun kills you lol. The person dealing that much damage will be weak as -blam!- and easy to kill. Which is why I won't be using it lol.
-
You are a fucking idiot
-
I am completely against this. If someone can stay alive against a team in trials trying to kill them while also damaging theirselves they deserve to win the fight. And a request to make the perk only proc if a higher K/D is on the attacker than defender because you assume that player would win... That would only contribute to a system where players would (perhaps unintentionally) artificially inflate an already high K/D and significantly lower the chances of anyone with a low K/D ever increasing it. That, good sir, gets my 'silly request of the day' award.

Scout rifles are balanced. Always have been Just sayin
-
If someone uses ToM to do that, I absolutely guarantee that they will die more than they will kill, it's got a nasty kick anyway, it's easy to use in the raid because Oryx has the biggest target ever but, if they dump their ammo in trials, and miss one bullet, they're hosed!
-
Why even? It just clogs up feedback and pushes away posts with legitimate complaints.
-
Guys, this clearly has to be satire. No one is this ignorant and stupid
-
Go ahead...keep shooting! I'll hide by this rock. /op dies "Wtf? How did I die?" -I'm l33t h4x
-
How, your basic legendary pulse rifle is better than tom... It sucks lmao.
-
Should ... Should i tell it ? I think its trying to speak ... But too bad .. It doesn't know how to think... Poor little guy ... I feel so sorry for it.

Edited by FreeformAxis: 10/21/2015 11:53:29 PMYeah, let's nerf a gun that is earned through pve. Makes as much sense as calling for a nerf of the chaperone in pve. Not everyone has a high KD. KD should never affect a gun/armors abilities. I don't care if you have a crap KD or not. You should never limit players who have received a weapon because they aren't as great as other players. Also, the gun sacrifices your health for that perk, so odds are you will be very vulnerable after killing a player with it. Also, terrible attempt at satire. Decided to make this statement in case you were actually serious.
-
It depletes your health when you use the final round
-
Actually we should be worried about luck in the chamber on snipers
-
Lol -blam!-in idiot.
-
You forgot to mention that it takes away life.....quite a bit of life actually. Using this gun in Trials would be stupid.
