I ran out of space in the OP, but there are few more details I wanted to touch on. -When Oryx left to do some conquest, Crota and his deathsinger sisters went inside Oryx's throne world, and Savathûn tricked Crota into cutting a hole in space. From that hole the Vex invaded. A Vex mind deduced the Sword Logic, killed thousands of Hive, and achieved godhood inside the throne world. The Vex mind even constructed a priesthood to perform worship functions directed at the worms as a means of bending reality (and it worked). Crota and his sisters could not get rid of the Vex (interestingly, the annihilator totems in the raids were first invented by the sisters to kill Vex). Oryx eventually returned, and defeated the Vex. Interestingly, the Vex could not accurately simulate Oryx to predict him. They could only simulate an outdated pre-worm version of him (Aurash, the female being that would later become Oryx), and Oryx got to interact with the simulation of his past self to show her how much he has achieved. Anyway, Oryx punished Crota for the Vex infestation by banishing him, and not allowing him to return until he becomes a great conqueror (hence why Crota was trying to conquer the Solar system). -More interesting stuff about their family. XXXVII Verse 4:7 — shapes : points Look at you! Already you are grown, my daughter, already you are a wizard. Have I been away so long? Now you are Ir Anûk, and Savathûn cackles and rages at your brilliance. You have written eleven axioms describing the ascendant places, our throne world. You have announced that you will kill one of these axioms, as Akka would kill the truth, and in mantling Akka you will become a God, as I am. If you try it I may kill you, or I may applaud. Well done. I brought you this bitter acid for your celebrations. And you, Ir Halak, you are a wizard too, as is the way of twins. I have been with Xivu Arath, who complains that you have made a song, and sung it in her throne world, and killed everyone who listened, quite irrevocably. Will we have songs instead of swords and boomers? What have you made for me? It is a tooth shaped like death! I will keep it in my mouth. What have you written for me? It is the course of the Nicha Thought-ship! I will track it down. I made you by cutting one larvae in half. It would not die. Each half grew into one of you. My sword is named Willbreaker, but it never broke you. -I feel like I should mention that Xivu Arath and Savathûn left with their fleets of followers. Savathûn left so that they could grow more different (she actually took her fleet into a black hole), and Xivu Arath left so she could have more freedom.
