There's no justification for it. Even if I don't spend a dime myself doesn't mean it's not sick that I paid for this game and every expansion pass and still have items blocked off from me.
It doesn't matter what items your selling.
It doesn't matter how cheap they are.
You're taking advantage of people and it's wrong. It's not a debate.
-
Maybe dedicated players will get silvers monthly.
-
So the hundreds of games before destiny that offer bonus DLC skins and characters for certain game modes, like several Resident Evil games, are ripping off people because they already bought the game and major expansions? :U
-
You paid for the game and all its current DLC's. They are now adding new cosmetic content. These do not change the game what so ever. You have not paid for these. No where in the description of Destiny or its expansions did it say upon purchasing this product, you will also get every little thing Bungie adds in.
-
Little Big Planet has them. I don't think it will matter as long as guns and armor do not end up able to buy.
-
It's just cosmetic items
Really?
-
I agree. I'm not buying anything more than the expansion. I don't care about cosmetic stuff. There are plenty of other people that want that stuff. I say the go ahead and buy it in bulk. And keep on buying it. Do whatever it takes to keep Bungie from running advertisements while I'm en route to my next destination or have pop up banners in the tower. I can see Master Rahool decrypting our engrams then saying, "While I have you here, have you spoken to your doctor about shingles. You know if you've had chicken pox...blah, blah, blah."

Call of Duty does the same thing but no one cares they do it.
-
the people that disagree with you are the same people that: a) think Luke Smith is lying about the secret raid room b) think the Sleeper Simulant is waiting to be found
-
I think you mean $140 dollar game for some people. Cosmetic or not I should not be confined to 1 dance emote for the $130 I paid for. This is just a serious money grab to capitalize on everyone watching people stream games who probably got the emotes given to them.

Edited by itsGhostMage: 10/6/2015 6:03:20 PMSo many MMOs (whether you count Destiny as one or not) has vanity micro-transactions and it doesn't hurt the game at all. WoW, Hearthstone (I think?), FFXIV, even (although not an MMO) Metal Gear Solid 5 has M-Ts. Get a grip and get over it.
-
Go tell this to every MMO
-
Call of duty has micro transactions
-
Edited by MilkAManatee: 10/6/2015 5:56:50 PMThis is just a field test by Bungie. They are doing it to see how many people are going to be stupid enough to cough up the money for useless things. Heck a ton of us already did it with the Collector's Edition. If successful, which there's no doubt it will be, they will most likely begin making it a play to win game. Wanna know the secret to getting the Sleeper Simulant? Give your credit card to Xur, he has a card reader
-
Who are you to say that? The consumers will decide if they belong or not. If they sell well, they belong, period...
-
Vanity items are fine and have no impact on the game. If some of us want to buy them then that's fine and is not up for debate. Two can play at your stupid game. No takesies backsies times infinity plus 1.
-
Edited by Test the God: 10/6/2015 5:54:21 PMIf its a vanity that serves no purpose item so it doesn't matter so stfu. End thread.
-
Get a job.
-
they are only dances and dont affect your game so just deal with it
-
Except it is a debate.
-
Micro transactions are a part of life now, in video games, phone apps, you name it. Get over it. Dont like it? Dont buy it. Dont like the game? Dont play it. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one but yours just stinks more.
-
You've got what you paid for. What your saying is like buying all year one stuff then complaining that you don't get the taken king content even though you never bought it in the first place.
-
-
Ever play plants vs zombies? Or peggle?
-
-
You Right the $100 I spent on ESO should not have micro transactions
