There's no justification for it. Even if I don't spend a dime myself doesn't mean it's not sick that I paid for this game and every expansion pass and still have items blocked off from me.
It doesn't matter what items your selling.
It doesn't matter how cheap they are.
You're taking advantage of people and it's wrong. It's not a debate.
-
You Right the $100 I spent on ESO should not have micro transactions
-
And you already hot what you paid for. This content is new content, not ttk contemt. So you are not entitled to this. Now if you dont like it, dont buy it. Yeah i know, crazy right?
-
Your dumb
-
Every AAA game that has come out in the last couple of years has had them.
-
Bungie is not a non-profit. Stop being so obtuse.

I love the people that think they can validate Spongies prospect on this. It just goes to show how many Spongie sucking retards there ore in this world, Probably all Democrats.
-
Edited by Jeff the Cabal: 10/6/2015 5:40:47 PMBlock from you? Well obviously if you don't pay for something, then it's going to be lock from you. And if you say "oh bungie probably cut it from the game" well, maybe they did during development. You hear that? during development. Maybe those things, such as emotes had plans for future things, like this. But it seems to me that these are new, considering it took them a year to implement them and se them.
-
Have you ever played an mmorpg???
-
You know a games named Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? Yeah, they have been charging for costume packs for years, yet no one bitches about that. And it could be worse, Battlefield let you buy your way to the to guns. So a new person could have the same top tier weapons as the next guy that did the grind from day 1. We all know how much money mobile games make on micro transactions, so to think they won't come into this gaming space is rediculous.
Companies aren't in it to give you a great game.... they are in it to make $$$$$
-
Alot of 60 dollar games have micro transactions.
-
Edited by ThargorDraconis: 10/6/2015 5:37:05 PMYou got what you paid for, you are neither owed nor entitled to any additional content. Any new content that is developed and released cost money to make and should be paid for. You are NOT being ripped off. If they want to do micro transactions all the better, that way we can pick and choose just the content we want and skip the stuff we don't want.
-
*cough* ESO *cough*
-
Dude. They're selling cosmetics. If you don't want them, don't buy them. It doesn't affect gameplay.
-
Cod has them
-
I want free content. If comes at the cost of some micro transaction then I'm okay with that
-
Destiny is an always online evolving game. This is not your typical 8 hour $60 shooter. It costs money every single day to keep Destiny running.
-
The alternative is rolling that price into a couple $20 dlc's over the next year. Pay $40 more bucks over the next year or suck it up buttercup and enjoy the free content that bungie is trying to give you.
-
How are you being taking advantage of? You don't get disadvantaged in any way if you don't buy and you're not forced to buy anything.
-
Edited by TwoStickZach: 10/6/2015 5:20:50 PMLook at it this way - there were no emotes before. Now there will be. It will be paid for by microtransactions. Done. Over. That's it. Don't make it a bigger deal than it is.
-
What the -blam!- are you talking about? It is a business. They are not running a charity. Numerous other games have this and their is just a bunch of entitled cry babies in this community. You will all learn one day nothing is free. And if you expect whomever at bungie to take the time to make this stuff for free you guys are nuts. Would you work for free? I sure as hell wouldn't. You need to grasp the idea of what a business is and take it for what it is. If you want it, buy it. If not, don't. Shouldn't effect you either way unless you want to buy some stupid dance moves.
-
Cod has micro transactions too and no one complained
-
Yeah thats not how it works. Everything you just spouted was an opinion. And opinions can always be debated.
-
Welcome to 2015
Prepare your wallet
Let's look at the most monetarily successful video game franchise: CoD. Whether you like it or not, the cod franchise has been extremely successful, and it has plenty of microtransactions. Sorry everyone, but this is a business for Bungie, and profit is the ultimate goal.
-
What is with the knee jerk reactions to the microtransactions? Theyre not even essential to anything. Anything made content wise after your initial purchase of the game is fair game to be sold. Quit crying. Youre not being locked out of anything.
