There's no justification for it. Even if I don't spend a dime myself doesn't mean it's not sick that I paid for this game and every expansion pass and still have items blocked off from me.
It doesn't matter what items your selling.
It doesn't matter how cheap they are.
You're taking advantage of people and it's wrong. It's not a debate.

Edited by Gauzl1: 10/7/2015 7:13:44 PMIt's called business, if Bungie/Activision doesn't continue to make enough profit from destiny then they will bin it, oh and, Bungie doesn't owe you anything, you agreed their ToC when you started playing destiny.

Edited by Furry Kissing Man Kisser: 10/7/2015 7:05:49 PMYou enter a fair (pay a fee at the gate) does that mean all the rides are free? Course not. Fee at the gate - the game The rides - micro transactions. You are not required to buy anything and so far it's just emotes, a cosmetic item of little value.
-
The items aren't blocked off from you.
-
You shouldn't mind something people have the choice of buying without affecting people who don't. However when it officially becomes pay to win and you have the option to be a lazy asshole, then you say what you say.
-
Sure they do
-
Bc emotes are gonna ruin your destiny experience. Get real kid
-
It's not a debate
No, you just have a thick skull, and you're admitting it.
-
Tell that to AW
-
There is a difference between being taken advantage of and you spending your own money to buy something you don't need. Nobody is forcing you to purchase anything.

Edited by Pixel Crisis: 10/7/2015 6:57:14 PMEdit: What Datto says in the video is basically my thought on this as well. Though I bet the first consumable is going to be the "vex chronospanner" which will pave the way for pay to win ...
-
There isn't a game I've played where micro transactions or ad ons don't improve the quality and enjoyment of my gameplay *shrug* I think people are too self entitled and want everything free and now. Sorry the world isn't all rainbows and unicorn farts.
-
You're right it's not a debate, it's capitalism asshole
-
You right tho
-
Waaaaaaaaah I need money for dance moves wwaaaaaaaaaah Bungie is wrong for selling dance moves waaaaaaaah \_/ tears please :)
-
Just stop. Are the forcing you to buy it?. No. Those who want to have fun and fund the Game can, those who don't want to don't have to. So just don't buy anything
-
I'm not surprised there's now microtransactions in destiny. Activision have them in cod, it was only a matter of time before it came to destiny. However it must stay completely cosmetic.
-
When you're able to buy weapons and armor for money, then I'll promptly throw this game away.
-
Edited by pasta i guess: 9/30/2019 3:24:05 PMhmmmmmm

Might i remind people that all expansions are free till next fall
-
They're doing it to compensate for a the free content we'll be getting until Destiny 2, in Fall 2016
-
Don't want to buy extra emotes... Don't buy extra emotes.
-
Its to make future dlc free. So stop bitching.
-
They are a business, businesses determine how to sell their product. I've had every Xbox since the orginal one, doesn't mean I expect to not pay Microsoft another penny to continue gaming
-
Isn't WoW $60 dollars to start playing? Because I'm positive they have micro transactions
-
Try playing fifa.... this is nothing Stop
-
If they are going to give me content that matters for free by selling useless content to others, the hell yes. Bring it on.
