No man. They should already be working to provide content without asking for anything extra. Dev make game. If people like game they buy it and Dev make money. If people don't like game the devs don't make money and have to work harder to make a better game. Support crap like this destroys our hobby. If you love video games then you shouldn't support it's destruction and devolution.

If you love video games then you shouldn't support it's destruction and devolution.
I lol'd so hard at this. Before online gaming and evolving games, you paid ~$60 and that was it. All you got was what was in the game case. If you want MORE content after that, it's only logical that you pay more money. You don't walk into a store and say "I bought one thing from you guys, so now I should get anything I want from you for free". People complained about the price of DLC. Bungie's solution is to give everyone the option to spend more, and even if you don't, you will still get free content. It costs money to operate a business. The one time cost of entry (buying the game) only gets them so far. If you want them to keep operating and producing content, then they need a way to pay the power bill, building lease, Internet and phone bills, server costs, hardware, and labor continuously.

 • So if no one buys them how will content be funded for that next year? I keep hearing this argument "Don't buy them, you don't have to buy them" So if no one buys them, what will fund the content their planning on releasing based of the sales of emotes? Fact is it shouldn't be separate from a game I've invested $240 on in year 1! Its bullshit.
