Did I get the game for free? Last I checked I was $140 in. Bungie can pay its employees out of that.

Edited by PizzaMan725: 10/6/2015 5:42:23 PMYou do know that Bungie doesn't even see half of the retail price right?
-
Of course. Even if they are only seeing 40% of that they are doing quite well.
-
Positive on that? I don't know their profit margins, though I doubt they'd try to go in the red. Yearly support costs quite a bit for a company.
-
-
Well I guess they are truly out to destroy the gaming industry then.
-
Yeah bungie blankman007 paid $140 that should be enough for everyones salary. How dare you try to make more money. His $140 is more than enough to feed all your families.
-
Am I the only person that bought the game? That's $140 per player moron. You know what bungie? Microtransaction away. These idiots deserve it.
-
And Activision and the cut that the people who sell the disk version so GameStop and the shipping cost and the marketing campaigns and the actors in that campaign and the fees for the building they work in and taxes
-
Yep. Should cover it.
-
Most Likey yes but they'll just most likely break even
-
And the costs of their equipment
-
You missed the point that they are CHANGING their business model. Go back to school kiddie. Come back when you can understand a conversation.
-
Sorry buddy, can't join you in your 1st grade class. I have real world things to do. It's literally 3 weeks after they made us all pay $40 to keep playing and now they are changing the business model to generate even more revenue off of us quickly, with the faint promise of some free stuff in the future. Sounds super shady and exploiting of the fanbase.
-
Wow.......I guess I am smart since I am an engineer still in first grade. Anyways, if you hate the new business model, don't buy the new cosmetic stuff. Better yet, quit the game. Simple as that! As for their new model, people want new emotes, skins and crap like that. So what......people will pay $2 for an item. How does that effect you? I can answer that for you. It gives you FREE future DLC's until Destiny 2 drops Fall of 2016. It gives you free mini missions and strikes. Wow.......sounds super sketchy to me. This is not the first game nor last game to monetize cosmetic items. It has been very successful within other games like Guild Wars.
-
I've seen nothing from destiny promising free stuff. They have also promised stuff in the past and failed to deliver (still waiting on those coming VIP rewards deej). You're right, cosmetics don't affect me. But Bungievision's greed does. And if this is successful the next step will be guns and armor microtransactions, which will turn this game into pay to win, and that is unacceptable $140 into this game.
-
You don't like the socialist video game... The masses will be happy to buy some new stuff with "Cash" that will make other parts of the game free for people like "You" and your the one complaining, wow, just wow!
-
Exploiting the most loyal fans. Great business model. I'll never contribute to anything cosmetic, and Bungie is spreading lies saying I will get "Free" content for spending no money? How is that a business model? It's a money grab that exploits the most loyal fans plain and simple. The price of future content will not change and everyone will still pay $20 or $40 for upcoming DLCs.
-
Psst No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to pay for it.
