Maybe you've been living under a rock or only played Nintendo b4 Destiny but that is what games are now.

Star wars BF (it will be full of it!)

The list is endless.
You may hate it but its here to stay for good. Anyway, from what I hear it's cosmetics and that is OK in any good micro transaction system.
