Guild Wars 2, great game. Great microtransaction model. Great free content from a live team.

Love that game

To bad destiny won't ever have free content.

false. its easily possible, heck, take a look at the Vault of Glass, it was part of a free content update.

Edited by Fr33-StuF-pl0x: 10/6/2015 7:30:51 PMIt would be very easy for them to add some free content in the future, you're right, but they never will. Anyone who's bought the last 3 DLCs are already caught in Activisions web, and will be forced to buy their future content, or be left behind and have the $100+ and the time they've already put into Destiny mean absolutely nothing. I almost guarantee these microtransactions will be more than just cosmetics within the next 6-12 months. Activision always lies to their players. I remember them saying supply drops would never able to be bought with real money before AW was released, and look at that game now. Also, I'm more than certain the vault of glass was supposed to be on the disk on the release date, but it was either not finished, or they purposely cut it out to consider selling it separately lmao.

and I can guarantee you that Bungie, one of the best companies when it comes to its community is not dumb enough to do something so asinine as that. you forget, Bungie makes the game, Activision publishes it. you would be dumb to assume Bungie would let Activision take so much control over their game.

Edited by Fr33-StuF-pl0x: 10/6/2015 7:48:39 PMFirstly, Bungie has been horrible with its community over the past year. Secondly, you have no idea how this stuff works my friend. Activision can pretty much make Bungie do anything that they want with Destiny, and if Bungie refuses, they can be in big trouble considering they signed a 10 year contract. The microtransactions were more than likely Activisions idea. The reason this game was absolute crap it's first year, was in fact Activision. Activision has a lot more control over Destiny and Bungie than you think.

and they wouldn't give up the company heading the game so easily, given how popular it has been
