I prefer them to get rid of the old broken guns because crucible has become a better, more diversified place.
Every single Year 1 weapon is STILL just as effective in Crucible as it was before, dude. Any diversity you feel has almost nothing to do with Bungie capping LIGHT LEVELS (hint- doesn't effect Crucible) on gear, bro. :P Players have switched up their gear with every DLC, simply because it's new, and any balancing you feel is either a continuation of the same trend, or simply the fact the Bungie already nerfed the most egregiously overpowered weapons.
[...] or change all the broken perks combinations on your guns (highly unlikely)
Again, just in case you didn't notice- they did nerf Year 1 perks (Rangefinder and Shot package included, btw, to address your point about "cheese" weapons). Your whole point is an invalid support for leaving Year 1 locked at current levels, because all the reasons you provide have already been adressed. Recap- None of the Crucible balancing you seem to feel is at all related to capping Light Levels on Year 1 gear. Weapons have been re-balanced, and perks have been retooled, plain and simple. Leaving Year 1 behind is purely a cash grab, and only serves to piss on veteran players.
