I don't know if ToM will be op in trials, being that you begin to take damage once it's down to the final round. And also, in PVP, it doesn't deal double damage.
One weapon I believe will be OP in trials is a year 2 red death.

Tlaloc will be broken, as it has the same rate of fire and damage with more stability once you get your super, and you can use fireborn to determine if you want to lose the advantage to pop your super.
-
I'm thinking this too. Tlaloc might be more prominent in iron banner I think.
-
It does on Trials and iron banner. Everything procs.
-
Nope. It only does 62 to the head in pvp.
-
Iron banner and trials is different from normal crucible.
-
There has been no posts anywhere that said that Bungie decided to break the weapon for iron banner. Don't make things up.
-
What is the point then of iron banner?
-
Iron banner is still level capped, but they are not going to change how this weapon works in pvp to broken in competitive. It will continue to do 43-62 to the head depending on if the exotic perk is proc'd. They will never make it do 86 to the head. That is moronic to expect, and whoever told this to you was either lying, or tricked themselves.

Edited by Fatal 0Efx: 10/6/2015 9:49:03 PM
Iron banner and trials is different from normal crucible.
It is different but neither IB nor Trials is going to push this weapon back to double damage. That's a PVE only damage increase. In PVP it'll be much less. They are very careful in their balancing of weapons now to ensure PVE levels of damage does not makes its way into PVP.
