They don't belong in a 60 USD game that isn't always online with frequent patches and updates, consistent dev time on a game that's already released, and a whole other host of financial add-ons Bungie took to make this game to be more in-line to an MMO-lite (as it isn't an MMO, but carries many of the same features that cost quite a bit). But Bungie pays both Microsoft and Sony to push a new version of the game live.
