Raid loot should not be rng! It should be based on equipped raid items! (Need support!)
I've ran the raid for a total of 10 times since it came out(including the three I ran today).[u] I was light level 309 prior to the refresh today.[/u] After running the raid three times today I received NO 310 ARMOR! AND to make it even -blam!-ing worse, the armor it did gave we was always one light lower then what I already had? [u][b]THIS IS NOT -blam!-ING RIGHT THAT YOU DO THIS RNG BULLSHIT ON THIS RAID![/b][/u] It's almost as if it intentionally gave me duplicates that were lower light then what I already had equipped?! I mean honestly what the hell am I post to do with duplicate armor from the raid that is a lower light level then what i currently have equipped?
I feel that I should not get armor from the raid that is a lower light level then what I have equipped, as it's completely pointless and beneficial to me.
[u]My Loots from the three raids i ran today are as follows[/u]:
-2 ghost shells (light levels 305 and 302)
-2 cloaks (light levels 305 and 300)
-2 legs (light levels 309 and 305)
-1 chest (light level 304)
-1 gauntlets (light level 300)
-1 rocket launcher (light level 302)
-1 shotgun (light level 304)
-1 sniper (light level 305)
[b]PS[/b]: [u]Out of the 10 raids I've ran, I still have yet to get the helmet, scout rifle, and pulse rifle?[/u]
I'm not saying remove the rng of raid items, I'm just asking that you would consider my current equipped items and give me a higher chance of getting a piece of raid gear with a higher light level on it, even if it was just by one light! (same way you did the exotics once you're over level 300)

Well maybe you get a better roll for stats and perks on a lower light armour. Oh my god you may not have seen this but that higher light can be put into the lower one and make its the same especially when it's only one level. Ever thought it gives it more reason for you to keep playing it and not get everything maxed out in week one like you could with the other dlc. Am I the only one that thinks it's so much better this way you are one light from max light and it's such a tiny difference and your making it seem like we are forever 29 again atleast when we were one off 30 it actually made a decent difference.

5 RepliesWell obviously you never really played a mom game then. Because no matter what rng is always there and just because you aren't getting what you want doesn't mean the system is that bad. The rng is supposed to be complete random. I have ran the raid 10 times also since launch and my main is 309, and my lock and Titan are both 304+. It's suppose to be a grind to get that max 310. Yes it can be frustrating or annoying but all that extra gear has it's used also.

Join the club bro. Received 300 and 303 gauntlets even though 305 were equipped. Had the 20 smoldering shards equipped, and got 2 smoldering shards from Oryx....nothing else. Raid loot table is a -blam!-ing joke, just like the rest of the game lol.

Got a 305 ghost (didn't need it) and a 302 mark after war priest and a 300 mark after oryx even with the 20 shards. WHY is wormspore even a drop by the way? So I made zero progress again this week. As long as Hard Mode isn't 310 or 320, I won't complain. But if it is, then Raid loot is the biggest bullshit I've seen in Raids. Normal Mode should prepare for Hard Mode.

Bump Bump Bump! All I need is a 310 ghost shell and I can hit 310. -blam!-ing RNG is ridiculous in the Raid. Is there any other possible way to get a 310 ghost shell?

2 RepliesI've found pretty much everything, i've had about 56 shards when ran my first raid. Found 3 guns and 2 armor pieces. Not sure but i think the higher level you get the higher drops you will receive. Still hoping for a 310 ghost.

The system already takes your light level in to account during rng for gear. For example, if you're in the 300's you could get light level anywhere from 290-310. I believe 310 is the max right now so obviously the closer you get to it the less likely you'll be to get that coveted 310. So, uh, I dunno. Try praying to RNGesus.
