You can die at any point. Just can't be a wipe. I'm hoping that the secret will lead to some secret quest that'll have to be triggered by something. Because a secret like that with such a small reward? That's weird to me

Exactly, and considering the FWC are all about timelines etc....no other instances like this. And FWC have quite a big part to play in destiny lore.
