The Chaperone Bounty is (NOT) impossible
Yes I know you can use your secondary and heavy but.. Try running around with a shotgun as a Titan, see how far that gets you. Plus every death sets you back 1%.

Edit 3: I DID IT!!! FINALLY. I went into classic 6v6 played defensively, used the new arms day fusion rifle (it's a beast). And I cleared their whole team with my hammers twice!! Thank you to all of those encouraging people, without y'all this wouldn't have been possible.

1 ReplyLike you spooky I don't really go into the crucible unless it's needed for a quest. I struggled with this at first but here's a couple tips that I hope help. 1. Make sure you have plenty of time - it easily took me 20-25 games to get it done. 2. Play rift or control - people group up in these games making multiple kills much easier. 3. You only gain or lose IF the last word is equipped - so that means you can die 100 million times and lose nothing if the gun isn't on you. 4. Play defensive and wait for your super - I would wait until my super was charged (storm caller) then equip the last word and attempt to get multiple kills. I've you get 3 you'll gain around 10% (triple kill, not just 3 seperate kills) I had a couple times I got four or five and then gained 20-25% in a single super use. 5. UNEQUIP THE GUN - once my super was done I quickly hid and removed the gun. I hope this helps :-)

Dunno what's so hard about it I mained TLW pre TTK, and the gun is still great. I did it in 3 games, mainly with TLW kills. Its pretty easy tbh

But, nothing is forcing you to try and get it done with a shotgun. You can snipe, fusion rifle, lmg, hell, I'm pretty sure even your super counts. If you're getting dominated or you're placed on a map you don't do very well on then unequip The Last Word. Kills and deaths only count if it is equipped so you don't have to worry about losing progress when switching to a different primary.

I'm sorry, but TLW is to be hip fired, when fully upgraded. It's still one of the best Handcannons out there too. I got this quest done in the first day, save for the Shield Brothers which I had to wait for some friends to come online.

The trick here is to stay insulated and not not expose yourself to danger. Hang back, take pot shots, use the buddy system. Don't get exposed. Best advice you'll get: play Rift; load a sniper, and just camp. You'll be done in a few games.

It's really not that bad. Plus, in 2.0, the last word is still a really strong hand cannon. It just requires skill to use now.

7 RepliesI don't understand why PVE players who claim they can't complete this weapon bounty even want it. It's far better in pvp rather than PVE. It's just going to collect dust anyway
