Have you read the Kotaku article on Destiny Micro-transactions? No? Well the plan is to fund future DLC content using the profits from the transactions.
You might ask how that effects me. Well the answer is that it effects everyone. Bungie are planing to do free DLC for everyone using the funding from the micro transactions.
No-one is asking you to buy any of these things, but I know as a fan of this game, I will invest some of my money in funding future content from myself and the community.
Its only taking advantage when they start charging for non-cosmetic items like armour and weapons, ghost shells and artifacts. Then it becomes pay to win, and I will never support a pay to win model for any game. Either charge for the game, dlc or have a subscription service.

Finally a rational person with a rational response. Well done sir, I agree completely

I don't believe for a second there going to give anything away on destiny for free sorry if you're going to charge me real money for emote and stupid dances what would ever make me think they're going to give me stuff that I've been paying $40 for free? There two corporations in their whole focus is on making money so if you really think that there ever going to give away a DLC for free you're fooling yourself
-
So a verified website that gives out accurate information most of the time is fooling us? Sure bud
-
If its not Bungie's website you can consider verified if you want but I don't, getting mad and defensive over someone's opinion is just kind of immature. I still don't by it for a second I've HAD to pay for way too many things in the game so I'm going to believe my own experiences over that web site. I had to spend almost $150 on the game and now they're adding microtransactions for things I can only get by paying real money none of those things says oh we're going to give some stuff away free to me at all.

There were plenty of publications over a year ago that told us about a sweeping cinematic story, any area that you saw you could go to, team mechanics that allowed you to spawn in on your fireteam, yes Pepperidge Farm remembers those articles. Pepperidge Farm remembers they were in well respected publications too. Things are not always what they seem.

If theyre gonna fund future dlcs with microtransanction then good I'm just gonna let everyone else buy stuff
-
It's not free dlc for you if you use the cash shop, it will be free for all the people who never use the cash shop
-
Then don't use it...?
-
That's the point, thank you for paying for my dlc lol
-
Don't thank me. I ain't buyin' that crap.
