AW introduces supply drops, They then add microtransactions in the form of slightly superior supply drops that 'won't give an advantage to paying players!' Well, guess what happened?
Destiny will start with emotes, then some engram that is like a legendary engram, but gives more cryptarch rep, or has an increased chance of being decrypted into an exotic. Then, in a few months time there will be exclusive gear in these Tess Everess engrams! Now this will most likely just be a reskin of another armor set that offers no distinct advantage... At first. Then they'll add weapons; maybe old guns with a new paint job and a different name, but then they'll move to weapons with exclusive perk rolls that you can hunt for! Then they'll add a whole new line of borderline exotic perks for exclusive new weapons IN the Tess Everess engrams! Then they'll slowly start adding weapons to the mix that are Tess Engram exclusive exotics!
You guys can say this is a slippery slope fallacy all you want; but look at AW the EXACT same thing happened there. Open your eyes, Guardians! We NEED to speak out and stomp this infestation out before they can let it take root in our games! We have a voice that even Activision can hear if we band together. This isn't the time for some of us to ridicule others who are fighting, if we're a unified force: we're more powerful than any corporation. After all, the community as a whole is the boss of the company, let's show them what we think!
