My normal team has been full night after night and I've only been able to complete the first two boss encounters with them. Last night after have been "left behind" again I decided to LFG and after half an hours search I finally joined a team(people in general seem very picky about that You have to have completed the raid before) that was really laid back and calm.
The team was mostly randoms, two of them were friends. We spent about 1,5hour from beginning to end. We took warpriest and golgoroth down on first attempt, helped eachother with the jumping puzzle without any rushing. We had a good time!
Before the Daughter encounter we had some time to go through the mechanics and went for a couple of try runs before beating it pretty easy when everyone got hang of the jumping. Then Oryx...same thing, we went through the mechanics and everyone took instructions really well without any problems. Two of five tries we had Oryx down to the last "bomb sequence" before we wiped. And then finally, everyone seemed to get it right - no one -blam!-ed up and we beat him. Such good times!
It feels extra good because my normal raid team hasn't beaten Oryx yet. :)
Sometimes You meet new people and You go 'click'.
I encourage You all to try joining a new group sometimes, with total randoms.
If You're lucky enough You won't have to hear anyone whining about this and that and You'll have a really good time!
GOOD LUCK GUARDIANS!
