Sometimes I would rather solo a hard mission than go on a raid.
I like raiding, but my only problem is even the greatest player can't beat a raid without a good team. I'm not saying "ohh theres this guy with 305 light, I should have more light because I'm better at this game), but still feel like even if I worked hard to be good enough, I can't be 300+ light (I'm 299 on my titan with most powerful gear) if I am not lucky enough to find a try hard team that gets the raid done efficiently. I just feels like they were carried rather than beating a good challenge. I just would rather go in alone in the darkness, where entire teams failed to survive, to find Oryx in his true realm, and walk out with battle scars and the head of the king. The main story mission isn't enough. I did not want to defeat Oryx, I wanted to tear him apart to the point his corpse is just a pile of limbs. Sure, he may be big, but it takes ten seconds for him to pound the ground. More than enough time to thrust Raze-Lighter into his stomach (the damage it does compared to snipers, machine guns, and rocket launcher is large, enough for him to flinch, maybe a team could've tried if the mechanics would allow that to happen).
