Edit: What Datto says in the video is basically my thought on this as well. Though I bet the first consumable is going to be the "vex chronospanner" which will pave the way for pay to win ...

There are no shades of gray with micro transactions. There are cosmetic items and everything else is pay to win. Everything.

Basically, cosmetics are okay (but are generally the door to much more) and anything beyond that is going to be an issue. And on the item I mentioned, someone found it in the database but afaik it's not in the game yet ... "Vex Chronospanner" http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/view/4175392107 Description: Single-use piece of Vex technology. If you complete a given week's Nightfall or Weekly Heroic Strike with this token in your Inventory, and then play through that activity again in the same week, you'll be re-eligible for rewards as if it was your first playthrough.

Interesting. I don't know anything for certain but I'll tell you the youtuber crowd would try as hard as possible to always agree with bungie. It's their livelihood. So although they may have interesting things to say and make good points keep that in mind.

Fyi - he doesn't think anything other than cosmetics should be sold - which is how I feel. BTW - I'm 40 years old, and my opinions are my own, but thanks for looking out for me lol ;)
