Defend this please. This post will probably be ignored since there is no defence for how ridiculously OP this class is.

Edit: Thank you for the discussion. Unfortunately I do not have time to talk to all of you. As for the state of the sunbreaker class I remain unconvinced that it is balanced.

Edit: 1400 replies not a single one has had a convincing or reasonable point to suggest that sunbreaker is balanced. Get ready for the nerf hammer titans.

Actually, I kinda think it's an even fight. Yes the Sunbreakers are strong, but a good super (like Golden Gun, Nova Bomb and ShadowShot) can easily turn off the Hammer of Sol. By the way, I'm a Hunter main. So if anything, I shouldn't be supporting them, so no yelling at me.

Also stop saying "nerf sunbreakers", the problem is with you pvp kiddies crying every time someone kills you with something you don't like. A good sunbreaker can help a team achieve great things in pve. If its nerfed in pve, because of some competive crybaby pvp players we'll have a problem.

Health regent is a perk in the tree it's not automatic, so the regen health part is irrelevant

Titans have a whole skill tree based on their super. It will still be better then any super regaurdless of what they do... Decrease hammers thrown to 5. And let all other supers last longer. Solid fix. Health regeneration, they put that there. Exploding hammers, they put that there.. The duration seems to be the big problem?

Which perk adds proximity detonation? I've had hammers go shooting right next to people's heads and just keep going. The seeking is only a mild adjustment anyways it's not like a truth rocket. Quit bitching because you finally know the feeling everyone else had when a bladedancer or golden gun was running around. The subclass is based entirely on dishing out high damage on as many targets as possible for as long as you can. You don't wanna get killed by it? Run.

Not sure I understand. It's quite easy to counter the HoS, that bow shot shuts down supers :/ and when I'm on my Titan I run FoH and works to stop the reign of terror that hammer is. I main a Titan, I know I'm a filthy casual that needs to get good and rekt. But I don't like how I hit a bladedancer with a sword and their knife wins lol. The only class I can't figure a counter for is my Warlock... Self rez eat another hammer? Lol. When I play crucible my blood pressure spikes too but with blink, campers, shotgun teams, bladedancer vs sword XD, HoS vs rocket, the wtf was that storm caller team killing super lol... but never enough for me to say it's unfair because we all have access to the same classes. Anyway not trying to argue but share my point of view on the issue. Have awesome day guys.

Since you were ignorant of this, the Sunbreaker is entirely geared towards its super. Your nerfs would not only ruin the super, but also the subclass. What might happen(doesnt need to) Lower health in super Boom, done. Thats its

You bring up a lot of good points. I think the duration should just be lowered. Either that or make all the other duration supers last longer (lol yeah right).
