Actually it does. We no longer need to pay for XPacs and we got an optional form of funding the game in Microtransactions, do you know why?
They broke above even. The game's profitted in one year more than the $500m they received to produce the game.
Basically beyond $60 expacs every year (in the form of the 4 Core games (Destiny 1/2/3/4) we don't NEED to pay a cent.
This is honestly 1000x better than most subscription models out there. Why you're complaining is honestly beyond me.

Can you tell me what the quality of the new content will based solely on an opt in approach with emote sales? I for one don't see a difference and in your case the outcome for Bungie will be ideally the same with this new model. Unless the quality of content released from emotes sales is significantly less then what we have received from Xpac's and an argument can made that those we're pretty light on content as well. We should all be concerned with this step, blindly accepting this could be a mistake. Micro transactions do not belong in a game where someone like myself has invested $240 in year 1!

I'm sorry but you are mistaken.

So either you're trolling now, or desperate to prove your point. You claim my evidence is wrong despite bungie releasing some #s on the playerbase #s and how many completed the Raid, with that alone we got a good grasp of the money players have paid. I've provided my evidence, if you wish to prove your point, you need to provide hard evidence of yours

You'll have to search through the sea of comments if your interested in finding your "evidence".
