Oh, I get it. No one wants microtransactions cause it'll supposedly ruin the game, when Bungie has made it clear that the game will not turn into a pay to win. What are we trying to win here? An emote battle?

Next may very well be "Convenience" items. As much as i would like for them to keep their word, I'm not very trusting when it comes to what Bungie says.

So because a lot of game have micro transactions that make its ok? A lot of games have that because people accept it at face value. Its a bullshit tactic. F2P fine, $60 games with $90 collectors editions is bullshit and a straight up money grab. I'm into this game for $240 just for year1 and taken king.
