You can't dodge a GG shot. Jumping up and down makes it much harder on the titan. To make up for this, HoS has more kill potential.

Golden Gun has no additional armor. Golden Gun has no damage reduction. Golden Gun has three shots. Golden Gun doesn't heal you. Hammer of sol has all of the above, and you can throw way more hammers, who also can track targets.

This is all true, but HoS is much more easily evaded, so it should be more powerful.

How can you evade a tracking hammer? If the guy using Hammer of Sol has functional thumbs, he will hit you. And then he will hit everyone in your team, and then he will hit you again when you respawn with its ridiculously long active timer.

The tracking is very poor. Thumbs aren't really the issue. Time of flight is. It's all about timing. Next time you encounter a HoS, try jumping up and down. You'll have alot more luck, something you can't do against GG.

Edited by abelsinh: 10/7/2015 10:08:48 PMThat's not really a counter, the Titan just have to wait a second for the enemy to land, they can afford to do so, since they can tank all that damage and their super last for so long. They can even resist a GG shot. You can try running from them, but then again you will have a Titan, the fastest moving class, chasing you, which will inevitably end up with your death.

The tracking blows. Hard. Trust me I've extensively used it in crucible with the immolation fists. It works like 1 out of 10 throws if your reticle is right on target in an open area

Even if the tracking is as bad as you say (which is not, I also use Sunbreaker for PvP) the large AoE and long duration of the super completely makes up for this, and then we have more armor, damage reduction and health restore.

You don't need to dodge it. You survive the shot from gg, throw a hammer, get all your health back and continue to destroy the rest of the team.

My point is you have no idea what you are talking about. You are defending a subclass that you don't know how to use to its full potential. On top of that you are talking about pvp which you aren't good at either.

Lol. I know how to equip my titan I just don't have it equipped for crucible atm. Honestly I mained a warlock for the first year. Only been using my titan for a short time. But I will look into this more. I could be wrong and probably am

It depends on armor rating. If the Titan is fully armored, he will resist a GG shot. There's no way to resist Hammer of Sol.

Evade =/= resist Even if I hit a max armor Titan with a GG shot, he'll survive. There's no way to survive a Hammer. If you get hit, you'll die.

Honestly I'm going to have to try it. I will equip my solar armor and max my armor Stat and head to crucible.
