There is a justification for it.
Future DLC will be at NO cost.
We already paid for $60 worth of content.
The microtransactions won't affect gameplay, which is what is the most important.

Lol The future dlc will still have a cost. But instead of one payment it will be 50 small payments of $0.99 or $1.99. Nothing is ever "free"

1. There has been no confirmation from Bungie that DLC will be free. 2. It might only start with emotes but could end up being more than that.
