Sunbreakers are ALMOST balanced, Bungie doesn't need to do a Fusion Rifle on an entire subclass: All that needs to be done is a one-hammer reduction and an increase to super-burn speed. This forces Sunbreakers into having to already be in enemy territory to activate and still get the max out of it. Lower the armour and the purpose of being a Titan is further diminished (already considering that armour is practically worthless in PvP anyway) or lower the damage and destroy the practicality of a super. Kneejerk posts don't help anything. Present a solution that considers the argument.

  • All I went is a slight armour nerf. I dont want it destroyed either or a duration nerf. Titans need a strong PvP class but it should not be invincible.

  • No, an armour nerf would destroy the idea that this is the heavily-armoured class in Destiny; it makes perfect sense that a Hunter or Warlock (a class described by Bungie themselves as a "glass hammer") super could be stopped by a headshot, but armour is the only advantage (and a piss-poor one to boot) Titans have, and it makes logical sense that it be vastly superior to the other classes' buffs. The focus of any change should be duration. Give me four hammers or a faster decline and the subclass will be balanced.

  • Hmmm I find it funny how the tank class is also the most mobile. A duration nerf is something I dont support seeing as the class is built around the super. A very slight armour nerf so it is counterable is something which I think makes sense.

  • I would respectfully disagree, as a Sunbreaker. The Super is probably as good as it is in response to the subclasses' terrible (and I'm talking PvP here) melee and grenades. And when you talk about an armour nerf, what are you saying; LDR headshot level?

  • No. Invalidates the idea of being a Titan completely. Maybe at Black Hammer/Spear level, but even then I would argue with the change. Remember; this is a class that was thoroughly shafted through Y1 and just gained a subclass worth talking about. Suddenly, Hunters and Warlocks are up-in-arms because the tank class got a tanky super. I most clarify: Armour nerf - Why the hell are we Titans then? Eliminates the purpose of a high-armour specified class. Damage nerf - Slower, less accurate Golden Gun? Even with AOE would be vastly outdone in most scenarios. Duration nerf - 4 hammers or faster drain. Seems legit.
