To answer your question, pulse rifles are king, so most everyone pretty much uses pulse rifles. Scout rifles are best from distance, but 3 shots of 32 » 1 shot of 43 no matter rof *insert "i out gun pulse rifles all day long" comments here*. Hand cannons are ok, but they have the same range as shotguns which have too much range in pvp still. Ar's are still underwelming. Expect complaints about luck in he chamber snipers when trials start.
