People who can't do jumping puzzles are...
If you can't do the jumping puzzles or die frequently on them please comment below I'm dying to know why. Nothing is more frustrating than the one guardian all the way at the beginning of the puzzle an hour later not because he/she doesn't knowthe puzzle but purely because they can't jump.
Please share your experiences of guardians failing those jumping puzzles in your fireteam.

I use L1 for jumps, plus I main a hunter, never have a problem with any of the jumping puzzles

1 ReplyYou forgot to add 'Dwarfs'. But in all seriousness, I have a friend that's ex-military, and he hates the jumping part of the Vault with a passion. It's kinda funny to listen to him lose it, and I can't wait to hear his reaction to the new raid jumping parts.

For whatever reason last week i could not do the jumping puzzle after golgorth for the life of me. I'm usually great at jumping puzzles, like first one done. It was incredibly frustrating, i think it was just from lack of sleep.

Yeah I suck at them. I've had two minor strokes on the right hand side and my coordination and reflexes are just knackered. I can see what I should be doing but by the time my brain sends the signal to my hand to press the right button the moments gone and I miss the jump. Imagine my delight at the increased jumping in TTK. One of the reasons I don't raid. Too much jumping.

Just make them skip the chest for 2 shards and force join them if they are taking too long. I'm fine with them but was a little difficult on my warlock trying to get the hight on one of the last ships. Warlocks can't jump. Lol

3 RepliesSurprised there aren't more votes for hunters. I still keep my crappy 170 level, year 1, Bones of Eao for my hunter for when there's any chance of needing to do a jumping puzzle. (and it's annoying that the new subclass doesn't have the equivalent of Triple Jump!)

Also when you fail and are suddenly the last person and everyone is waiting for you the pressure must be immense. If you have someone on your team that's is struggling, jump off and go back to help them.

He tried nearly an hour and we told him all the time 'you can do it!' - nope. Didn't help, he relogged and entered again... What I want to say and something I notice more and more with the rise and popularity of games: more and more non-gamers are getting into games. Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool, but on the other hand, those people never played a Super Mario, Sonic or Dark Souls. They don't know how to coordinate their avatar in a 3D-environment and don't have this 6th sense necessary for those parts. I know a lot of people - especially from MMOs and other online games - who have an extremely hard time with jumping puzzles and also underwater combat (z-axis). It's funny the same guys are sometimes great MOBA or RTS players but can't handle 3D environment.

Fellow hunters: equip Bones of Eao for an extra jump, then equip your sword to get third person view. Boom, you're now basically playing Mario 64.

I hate jumping puzzles in games! Mario, Sonic, Destiny you name it I can't jump for shit, maybe my depth vision is off or something! Being gaming for years and im still rubbish at jumping!

It's only the first time I do the jumps that I fail. Mainly because I have idea where to go. It's a bit patience that you need to have. Not a big deal.
