This isn't Super Mario Bros and jumping from platform to platform in a 3d game isn't easy for some, there is no depth perception because your TV shows only one image.

What? There is totally depth perception in 3d gaming... Hence its 3d. Your brain is fooled by televisions projecting images of a 3d world onscreen...

Edited by Aqua: 10/8/2015 11:29:03 PMIn the real world, your eyes see two different images and hence you gain depth perception. Your TV sets only one image which both of your eyes see hence no depth perception, only guessing from experience in the game.

Eyes are my dayjob, and you are kind of right on a very small tv or handheld game it could be as you say, but the whole way fps work is by tricking our brains with cues that make us feel like we are experiencing 3d images. There is even a phenomenom called QUAKE eyes from extended fps pc gaming leading to a depth perception issue for a few hours post play. Anyway.. Lol tl:dr
