Jump and don't engage. Bam. Easy avoiding Hammer of Sol and baiting strat. Also I could only make it five minutes into the video. I don't know if the maker just got out of dental surgery, was gargling cum, or if his recording equipment was just shit, but I couldn't make it through. The only significant thing related to Sunbreaker in the first five minutes were five Guardians electing to engage the Hammer of Sol user instead of doing something sensible like running away.

 • Not a great argument. First, if you want to make an actual contribution, you really need to watch the whole video. I'm not trying to insult you, and you were over exaggerating anyway, but if what you said was true you'd have to be pretty sensitive. Anyway, something that goes for all roaming supers is that there is a way to kill them without a super. Not sunbreaker. That's a red flag.

 • I admit that I didn't watch the whole video, but when he only showed one significant clip of a Hammer of Sol user in the first five minutes, he's not exactly helping the case of his video title. A more fitting title for over 50% of that video would have been something like, "Why other supers need adjustments" or anything along those lines. Why Sunbreaker "needs adjusting" isn't a ten minute discussion, so if he just wants to show other supers in the first five minutes, I'm well within my rights to hop out and criticize the video for being poorly made(which it is). Half of it being irrelevant to the title does not a good video make. Read that last sentence again. Now one more time. Good, now you understand it. Even if he did pull some actual reason out of his ass, I doubt it was going to get out of there without at least one taint hair on it. Sunbreaker's super and maybe its melee are the only things that really make the subclass stand out. Anyway, it's definitely easy to kill a Hammer of Sol even without a sniper. If the user is looking at you, yeah you're probably going to die. However, the odds of that happening are the same with any other subclass using their super on you, with the possible exception of Defender. Can you primary one down? Yes. Is it easy? Definitely not, but if you say it's impossible, you're just wrong. Can you shotgun/melee or snipe one? Yep. Is that also easy? Not really. It's about as hard as it is an Arc Blade user. Heavy weapons? You bet your sweet bippy you can. There's not a lot of things that heavy can't stop, and Hammer of Sol is definitely not on that list. This whole Hammer of Sol thing pretty much comes back to it being a slightly different, but better Arc Blade, and people are arguing about it the same way. Was Arc Blade ever overpowered? Of course not. Just no one could handle dealing with it because their first thought to everything is to charge in and try to engage. It's the same with Hammer of Sol and even Stormtrance. It comes down to the players not understanding how to handle going against a super. tl;dr players really have no idea how to do anything other than run at someone and shoot, and that's not how you handle everything in Destiny

 • He was reusing old videos to prove a point. If I understood it right, in the original video he was talking about how gunslinger's super was OP, close to OP, or a fine line that the supers were walking in terms of balance. About killing a sunbreaker without a super, there was some implied things, but let be be specific. You can kill pretty much any super with just guns --- if they're a nice open target for a length of time. I was excluding those instances because they're not going to happen. For sunbreakers, that's due to about two problems. The first is that many of the maps, at the very, very least, have areas that are cluttered and constricting as all hell. When you're in one of those many places, and a titan pops their super, there's a slim chance of getting away. There's less of a chance of getting away far with that you can then gun down mini Crota (especially with their health regen, since if you're that far away they'll likely be after someone else). I mean, they'd just really have to be stupid to use their super when they're surrounded by far-ish away enemies with no cover. The second thing is its damage resistance, health, and regen. There's always been a certain damage-taking line that roaming supers have stayed under. Until now. If the titan runs max armor (and with what it can do, why the hell wouldn't they?), they can tank sniper headshots, a shotgun melee combo, and a -blam!-ing golden gun. Taking those things and walking away has never been a thing (whatever arc blade used to could do was nerfed). Now some people argue "why not? We're the tank class!", but roaming supers are never full on 120% awesome at offense and defense. I'd say something kinda around 2/3 of their offense or defense capabilities should be nerfed. And probably a buff around the rest of the class, since everything else sucks apparently.
