Bungie's philosophy from the start was that not every player will be able to easily obtain every item.
It's fair that you need to display skill/resourcefulness/patience in ALL facets of Destiny, both PvP and PvE, in order to get some of the highly desired equipment.
You want the good stuff? You must leave your little comfort zone and step up to the challenge.
