I personally don't struggle with jumps on any of my characters, the mechanics are easy enough to get the hang of.
But I know a lot of people that cock up quite often and if anything we all laugh about it. We raid drunk a lot so it's never a serious occasion and the odd on going joke about jump fails helps keep the conversation light
