They have broken countless laws, hidden discoveries from the Vanguard, and have the end goal of abandoning not only the Traveler, which granted them the miricles that protect them from the Darkness, but also the City as well, which has protected and provided for them. They are low grade people. They want to take resources that could help push back the Darkness, so they can save themselves. If you want to fight for them so you can look pretty, then so be it. I cannot tell you that you are wrong, but only offer my opinion.
