Might be old news, but today I learned that the phrase:
"To be or not to be: that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune..."
Can have its letters rearranged as: "In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten."

Edgar Allen Poe once wrote a story about a boat which was stranded at sea. The crewman resorted to canabalism and ate the cabin boy in which they were later rescued. Few years later, a boat(with the same name) was stranded at sea. The crewman ate the cabin boy(who also had the same name) and were later rescued.
