But then ~85% of their players would quit. Plus, quest bits aside (which tbf is obnoxious) PvE players don't make PvP worse with their complaints, while nearly every single PvP based nerf has made something suck (or not as good) in PvE. Also, the 2 "halves" of Destiny aren't "halves", the crucible is a last minute tacked on submode, not wanting to play it is a valid demand. The real asshats imo are those who say "you don't deserve a piece of loot in a loot-based game because you don't like/aren't good enough at the mode I like", what do they even care ? It's a digital item in a game ffs, relax. The opposite doesn't compare, you can't buy an open-world coop rpg/mmo and complain you can't get everything by playing just the little side-mode. On the other hand, buying an open-world coop rpg/mmo, for the open-world coop rpg/mmo main mode and being required to play the little side-mode you don't care about, for an item you got the quest for in the main mode and that you'll use in the main mode, is annoying and doesn't help anyone. The PvE player is bugged that s/he has to be in the crucible and the PvP players are bugged that someone is boosting/cheesing/sucking/not playing the objective/etc

Ffs take it too seriously then

Was just bringing up a simple point, just because I used "suck" and "ffs" doesn't mean I'm being super serious or pissed.
-
Because I wanted to word it clearly

If it was a 'simple point' then why did it take so long to explain?
