He grabs his guns after getting out of bed. He pulls on his shirt and a pair of pants.
"A'Karo, I'm gonna go check that out, you wanna come?"
English
-
"No... no thanks. The planet is... well, it's completely barren. Not good for my fur... sorry baby. Good luck!" she remains in bed.
-
He smiles at her and attaches his Vulcans. "If I'm not back in a few hours, tell somebody." He smiles and kisses her, heading out of the room.
-
"If you aren't back in one hour, I'm making the ship land." she smirks. "Be careful down there, Casanova."
-
He chuckles a bit as he steps into the hallway.
-
she waves him off and returns to bed.
-
He heads to the hangar, getting a gunship.
-
The planet looks to indeed be empty, other than the distress beacon.
-
He shakes his head. This is a trap.....I'm sure of it He gets in the gunship and flies to the distress call.
-
a pillar of smoke can be seen in the distance, looking like a crash site.
-
He lands nearby, grabbing his rifle and stepping out.
-
he steps out only to step into a gross carcass, bright green blood everywhere. He looks down to notice strange aliens corpses literally everywhere.
-
"Ugh, what are these things?" He looks around, kneeling down to inspect one of the corpses.
-
the creatures are bug-like, small and have sharp claws and teeth. Some of them seem to have crude biological weaponry. Among the deaths are gunshot wounds, some were slashed down and others have outright exploded.
-
He looks around for the site of the distress signal.
-
as he stops to observe the ship, something pokes him in the back. Then, a stern, commanding voice speaks up in a low volume. "Don't move. Keep. Quiet."
-
He doesn't move, staying silent.
-
"Who are you?"
-
"Name's Python. Fireteam Exalin, now Axion." He turns, dropping his rifle and grabbing the one that was poked at his back. He pulls his pistol, throwing the rifle to the ground and holding whatever poked him by the neck.
-
as his hand touches the Blade, his hand is jerked back by the power field that surrounded the sword. The Huge man in power armor kicks python to the floor and puts his large foot on him, keeping the blade to his neck. "Good answer. Now, how the hell did you find me?"
-
"Distress signal." His Vulcans shoot up from his shoulders, digging through the ground to spin and aim at the man.
-
he extends his arm, revealing the wrist-mounted guns, aiming directly at his head. "And how is it a non-imperial ship tapped in on an imperial distress channel?"
-
"Imperial? What? There was a distress signal on all frequencies and I responded." He stares the marine down, unafraid.
-
"what I need to know is how the hell you found your way into-" he was cut off by a blood-curdling screech, coming from a distance away. "they're returning. We must make a stand."
-
"Alright. You gonna let me stand?" He grins and reaches for his rifle.
-
he turns his hand to him, holding it open for him to take it. "Captain-General Lex Aurellius. Deathwatch of the Imperial Inquisition."
