he extends his arm, revealing the wrist-mounted guns, aiming directly at his head.
"And how is it a non-imperial ship tapped in on an imperial distress channel?"
English
-
"Imperial? What? There was a distress signal on all frequencies and I responded." He stares the marine down, unafraid.
-
"what I need to know is how the hell you found your way into-" he was cut off by a blood-curdling screech, coming from a distance away. "they're returning. We must make a stand."
-
"Alright. You gonna let me stand?" He grins and reaches for his rifle.
-
he turns his hand to him, holding it open for him to take it. "Captain-General Lex Aurellius. Deathwatch of the Imperial Inquisition."
-
"You already know my name. Imma call you Marcus Aurelius." He takes the hand, standing as he chambers a round in his rifle.
-
lol why?
"I would rather enjoy you use my name, it was given to me for a reason."
-
Nothing.....inside joke for mah real fam, but they ain't here.......stoopid me
"Fair enough." He looks around. "What are those things?"
-
"Tyranids. A race of foul, filthy xenos that live only to consume all that is organic. They are an unstoppable force of countless numbers. Kill one, and a hundred more take it's place. There is no halting them. You can only push them back. And they will not stop until they have consumed all that exists in the universe."
-
"That's nice, now let's kill them."
-
"They're coming in waves. Once we take down the first one, we will go hide while they gather their strength." a Huge cloud of dust could be seen in the distance, approaching. Fast.
-
"Why hide? If we live through the wave, we'll live through the aftermath." He eyes the cloud.
-
"No, my friend. The first wave is only the reconnaissance. The true hell comes after." he disappears inside the crashed ship. The sounds of the Tyranids approaching was growing louder.
-
"Ah...." He follows him into the ship.
-
right before he enters he can get a glimpse of what's coming. Hundreds, thousands, millions, you give up trying to count after witnessing what seems to be an endless wave of creatures. An ocean of gnashing teeth, Sharp claws and devastating biological weapons stands before you, their goal only to consume what life you still have. Lex seems to be remaining perfectly calm, entering some kind of sequence into a half-broken terminal. "I hope your friend has some armor." he motions to Minerva without looking away from the console.
-
"Eh, we know how to take a bullet." He looks at Minerva, looking back at his rifle soon after.
-
"it won't be bullets. It will be rows of Razor sharp teeth sinking into her flesh, eating her alive. And trust me, Tyranids know weak points. They can smell them." a port opens as Tyranids screams become very audible. "Get out there and start cleaning! Use these..." he throws him a couple of inferno grenades. "... they'll come in very handy. Oh, and one more trick to beat them." he finally turns his attention to python. "Acid and flames, Brother. Acid and flames." he extends his arm and shoots at a Hormagaunt that had entered the ship. As soon as the flaming bullets enter it's body, it violently combusts. "Now Move it!"
-
He turns the grenades in his hands. Once he hears the part about flesh chewing, he grabs a piece of scrap metal and puts it in front of his member. It sits in front of his boxers but behind his pants. He draws his sword. "Does it have to be fire and acid?"
-
"It's what works best against them, but metal works just fine!" swarms of smaller, crawling tyranid monsters start flooding through the door. "Get out there! I'll come out in a moment."
-
His Vulcans spin up and begin tearing through anything they shoot at. He pushes out the door, hacking and slashing.
-
The corpses begin to pile up but, true to Lex's word, it does little to halt their progress, the gross creatures stepping and climbing over the dead ones.
-
He doesn't stop firing as he slams the bugs around.
-
A few shots hit him, a strange, slimy acid bolt striking his chest with somewhat impressive strength for such creatures.
-
He wipes the acid off as soon as he can, stepping on a Tyranid. It squishes under his foot.
-
soon the Tyranid corpses begin building up like a wall, until one of his vulcans resonates with a -click!-, signaling it is out of ammo. Shortly after, so does the second one.
-
"Shit." He keeps slashing and crushing, falling back slowly.
