despite lvl I am still new and don't know anything so up for anything so long as I learn

just play patrol and strikes until your light level is above 280, after that you can start thinking about raid, as of now you wouldnt do any damage since your level is too low

still like to learn other things like symbols above other characters head what's 3 dots mean exclamation mark and when flashes yellow not to mention players in strike seem to do there own things and what's the best way to get legendary marks also it shows I have something at the tower but when I go there it doesn't tell where after unlike when I turn in quest and engrams thanks

3 dots= he is using his inventory exclamation= he has taken alot of damage yellow flash= he is speaking (probably if I understood what you meant) Best way to get legendary marks is through daily crucible and daily mission. If you have for instance a ship model you have to go to the area where the ship guy is for it to show, it's like that for some reason.

thanks I've had no luck with crucibles yet but I'll keep trying I'll try the ship guy

The crucible one is bottom left when you go to orbit. Its one of the bubbles there. Also if its not the ship guy just run through all areas, and you should find it
