Not quite
The beam penetrated the target (like its exotic perk is supposed too) and hit a wall behind him and deflected back to kill the ss user.
He simply blocked the damage with his sword he did not reflect/deflect the beam back at him.

I'm going to just say that something strange is going on here probably because it was in 3rd person....
-
When you pull out a sword your view changes to 3rd person
-
I know this...I'm referring to the reason it looks like two lazers. The 3rd person messes with stuff.
Lazer for Lazer team
The fact that the wall behind her was angled, the shot couldn't have bounced off the wall behind her and killed the shooter.
-
That's what I'm confused about the shot obviously seems to miss to the up and left so what actually killed him? Is the hit box just broken on reflected shots? There was definetly only one beam. I'm 99.9 percent sure the sleeper stimulant doesn't have a secret mechanic that splits the beam into 2 if blocked by a sword haha
-
but the penetration perk went and bounced around to the water tower in the background, the reflected shot went back and killed him. it split it into two beams
-
I only seen one beam. Idk how you guys are getting this 2 beam stuff. There's only one beam it's seems like it obviously misses him to the up and left but he disintegrates anyway. Idk what to say honestly but I do know that he DID NOT deflect it back at him.
-
of courses it wasn't deflected, because it was reflected back at him
-
Wouldn't that have guaranteed a kill on the swordbearer though, getting one reduced hit from the front then a full blast from the back?

This thank you
