Here's why you're losing as the Rebel team.

So I've noticed a lot of people saying "Walker assault is broken." It's not at all, I assure you it's not. Now this game is developed by Dice so that should immediately tell you that this game is about one thing and one thing only if you want to win..the objective. The whole point of Walker assault is to hold the radar dishes long enough to get more Y-wings to take down the AT-AT's shield. Then pew pew you win. PTFO and you'll win the game Tl;dr Instead of running for kills, run to the radar dish and defend. Just play the damn objective even though most of your teams goal is to be Luke and die shortly after. If anyone wants to play with me on ps4 my gt is: Predator_AVP2 Original as hell I know

 • The battle is divided into three sections. Y run 1, 2 and 3. At the beginning the empire forces fight uphill. The objective close to the bunker is easier to hold for the rebels while the far one offers too much exposure and should be focused on second. When the second phase starts, the ground is a bit more even, but rebels spawn inside the base allowing you to hold the inner objective easily but making the outer one harder to get to. Also the hangar is a real choke point. The rebels can hang at the back of the room, but at this point when the empire starts to spawn around it, grenades lobbed into the hangar make short work of them. This is, imo, the most balanced part of the fight. When the battle moves past to the third section, the empire has a distinct tactical advantage due to the fact that A) they are coming down the hill, and B) the ATAT's have full, unguarded access to both objectives until the end of the round. Part 1 advantage-rebels Part 2 advantage- equal(dependent on skill/map knowledge/number of players playing to objectives) Part 3 advantage- empire. It is balanced, just not equally for the whole duration of the battle. The rebels should really push their advantage at the beginning and get as many Y wings into the air as they can, and then in the second round do what they can to hold the hangar, and finally in the third round play conservatively and stay low. My biggest problem is finding players who actually go after objectives. The game is complete chaos, with between 3 and 5 people per team actually playing the game mode. If you played a game with 2 teams of twenty people actually playing the objectives, the battle would unfold very differently. I see the potential, but everyone plays like racking up the most kills will win them the match. CoD kids.
