The Aftermath
Axion Cruiser
Soldiers lay dead, both sides took heavy, horrible loses. We may have come out on top, but we payed dearly for our win. Blood and gore splatter on the walls, in the hallways, in rooms and even on the survivors. About halfway up a hallway, there lies a soldier who held a grenade when he was overrun. The walls had been almost knocked down from such a force.
Ships in the hangar are in pieces, flaming. A body hangs from a sharp piece of metal. The man hangs there, dead. The hangar is in ruins, flames, chaos because Ciri go to her ship. This move was bitter-sweet, it may have eliminated most of Del Fino's forces, but it destroyed everything in the hangar.
The entrance to the training room was a wall of bodies. Both friendly and enemy, some were missing limbs, others intact, a few were just piles of meat and bone at this point.

"She's somewhere in the halls I think..."
Jenny is afk atm
Flashes of energy run through the hangar They form into multiple flaming spheres that go and enter the soldiers They leave, brighter than before out of the corpses
-
Soldiers nearby watch with intent.
-
The spheres enter the living, causing them to start killing each other
-
Other soldiers hold them down, the balls of light start to dissipate.
No. Just no.
-
Thise who've died's corpses glow and vanish, leaving behind a sound akin to that of a man screaming
-
The soldiers try to ignore it as they patch themselves up.
-
They feel a nag A tug At the darkest points in their minds
-
They shake it off.
-
It continues to pull, causing some to develop splitting headaches
-
They slow, but keep recovering.
-
Some do, others groan in pain, a few pass out and convulse
-
Medics come by to help them.
-
Thise who haven't hit the ground do, and those who did before start to foam at the mouth
-
The trained medics quickly fix the men on the ground and the ones hitting the ground.
-
Their condition stabilizes, but they do not wake up and start to burn with a fever
-
I'm going to have one hell of a job to do *pulls out a note book and begins counting all the bodies*
-
They total up to 4040. Forty is the biblical number for Death, coincidence?
-
Hmm...funny
-
Soldiers around you recover slowly.
-
It's going to take awhile to remove all these corpses
-
"Yes, it will."
-
Unless we decided to blast all of them out an air lock...but that's probably not an option
